Under symphonic music eight characters on
stilts create fairy action which is connected to ritual of
fire of different time epoch. Representation bewitches
plastics actors where stages of the Apocalypse are played
rigidly and in a mad rhythm. The ending of show creates
pyrotechnics stages on themes of classical music
Gloria.
It is deification of pleasure and a light theme human life’s
on the Earth.
Show lasts 50 minuts
REVIEWES
Colourful street art chased black
clouds.
The eagerly anticipated event on the first day of the festival, show
of the Lviv Theatre Voskriesinnia "Gloria." Embedded in the poetics
of the group, already known the audience of Jelenia Gora from last
year's "The Cherry Orchard" is a metaphorical spectacle and ethnic
journey, a poetic story about life and the elemental fire and water.
The latter - as if to order - fell from the sky. The rain started to
drizzle at the very moment when the music soundtrack was the thunder!
Some of the audience wondered whether that is certainly not one of
the many special effects. But no: it was the truest rain, which,
moreover, quickly stopped and did not prevent the completion of art.
The show could discern the motives of both Oriental culture and
Christianity. Important is the background music: on the one hand
classical, the other - and it is present in the entertainment sounds.
This statement, however, does not offend, and a song by Ruslana,
winner of Eurovision, used to dance on stilts and even took on new
value. In some parts of the live played percussion Igor Shyriayev.
To this we add painterly scenes, highlighted with a brush of light
and pyrotechnic effects. For the "Gloria" by Yaroslav Fedoryszyn
deserved applause!
